Party time

We survived the first year, and the first party! It was a fun afternoon with family, burgers, lots of cake, and toys. We went with a pirate theme in honor of cousin Blake and his pirate patch. Someone got a group photo which I am sure will be on a blog somewhere :) He got great toys to aid his development, and some apparel and accessories... every boys' dream! There was a lot of family missing from the party but we ate enough cake for everybody, and we partied in your honor. Maddox was hilarious with his cake; unsure at first until I pinched off a bite for him, and then it was face plants and fists full and then a bath before presents.

Maddox has started to do a dolphin laugh whenever he is particularly pleased or excited. This morning, Bing shared little bits of his coffee with Maddox and this is what we got!
