The 27th and 28th, Bing and I spent in a wonderful house on Bella Beach. We hit the largest outlet mall I have ever seen, beach combed for hours and hours, ate good food and had our first bubble bath together.
Back in Astoria, we had a delightful dinner with mom and dad, and Bing made(or started to make) a custom, oak, wine rack to fit in a piece of furniture. Barney gave Bing a couple of guitar lessons, as we brought two guitars home with us. I spent about 4 hours doing laundry and very strategically packing our car. We had waaay more stuff than was needed.
We spent New Years Eve in Seattle where once of Marcia's classmates hosted a party for us. We had more good food, fun folks and a rooftop view of the Space Needle fireworks. We got to the hotel around 1:40 am where we both noticed I looked about 5 months pregnant. I took a test and waited. A very faint line appeared, starting our new year off with the happiest of news! I am now 10 weeks along.

Driving, driving and more driving, A Christmas Tale
One of the evenings, we spent hanging out with Bing's old buddies, had delicious pizza, watched the kiddos learn how to share, and enjoyed each others' company once again.
Ashley and Maddox are several months apart and were pretty funny to watch. We tried to get Bobby to let Ashley wear the red singlet so we could have a wrestling match, but he is already protecting her from boys! :)
Christmas Eve we spent with Nick, Tiffany and the girls before heading to a Christmas Eve service with great Uncle Burch and Bebe. It was a delightful service with a nativity play in which, there was a child in a wire edged star suit that made me laugh until I cried.
Christmas morning was also spent with Randich family who spoiled Maddox with wonderful gifts. I have to say my favorite is the dinosaur flashlight that roars... I'm just saying. After presents and breakfast with Nick's side of the family, we drove back to Summit Lake for lunch and a gift exchange with Barney's cousins. What a hoot they are, we played games and ate waaay too much food before driving to Astoria to spend Christmas evening with Barney and Marcia (grammy and pappy). Unfortunately, I have no pictures of the evening.

August rush wannabe
This kid is really amazing. It isn't perfect, but it is still a marvel to watch. Yes... I have time to look at random youtube videos when the internet works cause I'm not blogging :) It takes much longer to compose a well written post and add pictures than it does to search for young talent.
He plays a lot of different songs, check em out.
