steppin on me

Maddox rode his bicycle for the entire family walk which was easily 2+ miles, up a bunch of hills too! He did so great, and never complained or whined...what a guy. He has discovered shadows and has a super imagination. Love this kid.

Nothing fantastically funny about this but, for some reason, I crack up every time I watch it. His feet just dangle there, classic Jetty.



This is kind of long, but I wanted to give you an idea of her happy little temperament and cute coos.

I had one of Maddox but the sound stops half way through so I will share when I get it figured out. These came from my phone so the quality isn't fantastic but I wanted to give the grandies something to satisfy :)

Bravery

We are trying something bold...very bold. We have successfully completed one night and two naps with Jetty out of the crib. At 19 months, it seems semi-early, Maddox didn't graduate to a bed until well after his second birthday but, Audrey is outgrowing the bassinet and I refuse to buy another crib. Jetty wandered his way into our room shortly after going down last night, having been warned that getting out of bed would result in a spanking, I made good on that warning. He hasn't attempted it again. I suppose I will give it a solid week before taking the crib apart and moving it to Audrey's room, just for good measure.



Maddox got a raised bed, gotta love IKEA... I had a bunk bed picked out and then we walked past this one and Maddox asked if he could have it. Daddy agreed that this was cooler so, I lost. Now, we have to go back and get another one so Jetty isn't sleeping on the floor. That also means that I have to BUILD another one. Yippee! They love it and they certainly love to show it off.
