My cousin Hannah had a lunch/play date scheduled with another friend and her two youngsters so we crashed the party. Midway through the day, we had a pleasant surprise. Joy, another cousin who lives three hours away from Denver, was stuck at the airport and wanted Hannah to rescue her. It was so much fun! Joy and Hannah are both pregnant and our three oldest children are within 6 months in age. I haven't seen either of them since Aubyn's wedding, last August and it was nice to spend some 1-on-1 time and catch up. They both got to meet Jetty for the first time and he was very well behaved and tricked them into believing he is an angel :)
Is that the face of an angel?
The boys spent most of the afternoon throwing balls: at each other, at the garage, at the fence, and ultimately, all 75 tennis balls and the horse ball, wound up in the neighbor's yard. Once the balls were gone they turned to wrestling. Rather, Noah laid on top of Maddox while he shamefully cried like a little girl. Looks like Bing's dream of having a wrestler has been dashed! It was pretty stinking hilarious. To get back at him, Maddox dumped sand on Noah's head and got it in his eyes.
Selah hung with the boys like a real champ. Neither of the boys tried to wrestle her or bury her in sand although, Maddox has not learned the art of sharing balls. In his mind, all balls are his and he doesn't care how cute you are, he will take it right away.
I love Noah's face in this picture so I had to include it.
And this one looks like they are all line dancing,
I'm not sure what caught ALL of their attention. Must have been something really cool.
The only picture of either cousin. Joy and her bambino-belly.
Maddox bracing for impact.
And... thunk!
