Miss Audy is just perfect. I have never felt cheeks so soft and buttery in my life. I love to just rub my lips across her cheeks and I could sit for hours just taking pictures and kissing her. Bing told me he thinks that I am way nicer to Audrey than I was to Jetty... and it is totally true. Not that I wasn't nice to Jetty, I just have more time to love on her because I don't have to leave for a job, I am generally happier cause I am mostly rested and she is my last baby.
We induced a week early trying to avoid another 10 pounder. Even a week early she weighed in at 8# 8oz. So, we went in at 7:30 am to get things rolling. It being my third baby we figured it would go quickly and we would have a baby by noon. I was on pitocin from 9-4 with very little results but enough had happened that my midwife decided to break my water. I waited an hour to get the epidural and that was long enough. About 7:20 Bing thought he would head home to get the boys in bed and then come back for delivery. I thought that might be pushing it so I had her check me before he left. Good thing... 7:30 I started pushing and at 7:45 we delivered the sweetest baby girl. They put her right up on my chest and she just grunted and squeaked while we rubbed the copious amounts of vernix from her. Bing cut the cord and they just let me hold her and hold her until I was ready to have her weighed. It was so nice to be leisurely about it all and to do things in my time, not dictated by doctors or a frail baby.
The boys just adore her and are so gentle and sweet. Jetty is so tender with his sister and really loves to kiss her head and pet her. Initially he was jealous of her binky and wanted to have all of them but now, he will try to put his in her mouth... turns out, she isn't really interested!
Maddox will find her sleeping on my bed and will go round up his blanket to cover her. Then he just sits there admiring her.
So far, Audrey has been a great sleeper and is eating very well. Most nights she only wakes once to eat and so we are pretty well rested. She has been such a dream. Can't wait for you all to meet her.
I have a whole lot more to update on. We are moving to Coeur d 'alene in less than 3 weeks and so I am very busy trying to pack, care for three kids and get all of our business in order preparing our taxes and securing insurance. It is BUSY around here, so forgive my lack of updates.

Hurray! I am so happy for bebe Audrey! She will have the best big brothers :)
Funny, I was sure her name would be "Landry" because that was the only name I could think of that was close to "laundry." Oh well - I really like the name Audrey and she looks like a real sweetie. Congratulations!
I love your babies! And your hubby...and YOU!
I have to keep coming back to gaze upon that perfect face...you two sure know how to make BEAUTIFUL babies...she melts my heart.
